First Communion in Tel Aviv

On Saturday (18.05) in Our Lady Woman of Valor Center twelve children participated in the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time.

In the heart of Tel Aviv, the Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center stands as a beacon of faith and community for many migrant families. Here, the sacred tradition of First Communion takes on a unique international character. Children from diverse backgrounds come together to receive the Eucharist for the first time, marking a significant step in their spiritual journey.

On Saturday (18.05) a group of children received the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time. In his homily, Fr. Piotr, the Vicar of St. James underlined the meaning of the presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of all the believers. He congratulated the kids and their parents, as well as all who helped to prepare the feast. "Open your hearts for Jesus, invite Him to your life" - he called everyone.

After the Mass traditional meal at the back yard united all in the joyful celebration of unity.
