Cardinal Tagle at mass with Filipinos
Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, Archbishop of Manila, is visiting the Holy Land and celebrated a mass for the Filipino migrant workers in Israel on July 11, 2017.

Cardinal Tagle will be speaking at a conference in Jerusalem and arrived in Israel on July 11, 2017. That same evening, hundreds of Filipino migrant workers in Israel, representing all the Filipino communities in Jerusalem, Haifa, Tiberias, Nazareth, Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Rehovot and elsewhere gathered in the auditorium of Notre Dame Center in order to participate in the mass that the Cardinal celebrated. Many of the Filipino priests and religious as well as many others who serve in the Filipino Chaplaincy of the Holy Land joined the celebration.

In his message, the Cardinal reminded the Filipinos that they have not only come to work in order to support themselves and their families but that they are also sent by Christ and the Church to witness to the Gospel in their lives.
