Big football tournament in Beit Hanina!
Last Friday, November 22, the children of the Saint-Rachel center competed against the children of the "Academy of Christian quarter" - near the Terra Sancta Parish Center in Beit Hanina, in a football tournament. This tournament was an occasion for our Hebrew speaking children and those Arabic speaking children to meet together.
After a great victory of the younger children of Sainte-Rachel Center, led by their double scorer Akram, the team of Beit Hanina then imposed itself in the match of the elder kids, after a penalty shootout. With victories on both sides, the tournament ended in a good mood with the traditional presentation of medals and cups.
Congratulations to all the participants who made this tournament a success. Congratulations to the coach Elias, who knows how to transmit to the children his passion for games and sports, and thanks to all the children who overcame the differences in language and tradition in order to unite in friendship.
