Meeting of Latin Bishops Conference

Bishops from the various Latin dioceses in the region participated in the meeting, during which they exchanged updates and news related to the life of the Church, and discussed common issues and pastoral challenges facing the Latin Church in the region.
The bishops present at the meeting came from: Israel, Jordan, Cyprus, Westbank, Egypt, Lebanon, Somalia, and the Gulf Area.
Among the topics discussed during the meeting were: Instrumentum Laboris of the Synod, permanent diaconate, vocation of the Latin Church in the Middle East, Year of Jubilee.
