Fr Wojciech Radomski, the parish priest of Haifa, travels back to Poland in order to assume new missions. Fr Sergey Loktionov O.F.M. becomes the new parish priest of Haifa
Last Saturday, 25th of July 2020, the Hebrew-speaking and the Russian-speaking Communities of Haifa said their farewell to Fr Wojciech Radomski who has been the parish priest of Haifa for two years. During these two years, Fr Wojciech cared for the Hebrew-speaking faithful in Haifa while Fr Sergey Loktionov O.F.M. cared for those who are Russian-speaking. From beginning August, Fr Sergey Loktionov will be the new parish priest and he becomes responsible for both communities. Fr Wojciech is travelling back to Poland in order to assume several missions: he will minister as a priest in a parish in his diocese of origin, while teaching catechism to several classes of children and teaching Bible in the Seminary.
All in all, Fr Wojciech has been serving three years in the Saint James Vicariate: one year as assistant of Fr Piotr Zelazko in Beersheva, and two years in Haifa as parish priest. We now offer him our best wishes for the next step, hoping to see him again soon, perhaps with groups of pilgrims. Our best wishes accompany to Fr Sergey for his new responsibilities as parish priest in Haifa.
