A kit for the release of stress in difficult times.

A friend from Kehillat Zion, with another volunteer, come to support families of migrants and asylum seekers in Saint Rachel Center

This week at Saint Rachel Center kits for the release of stress were distributed to the parents of our children. Shay, a friend from Kehilat Zion, arrived from the North of the Country and another volunteer came from 1 to 4 p.m. to meet our parents at the gate, in order to show the content of this special kit put together by IsraAid, an Israeli organization whose mission is to support people affected by humanitarian crisis.

The kit contained an explanation letter in Arabic and Tigrinya, a mint plant, a soft ball, play cards, colors and mandalas and other items meant to help in moments of pressure and distress, as in these pandemic times that make even harder the life to migrants and asylums seekers.

We thank our friends and the organizations behind them for thinking about us and our families.
