Conclusion Party for an Art Project at SRC

On Tuesday, July 20th a party was held at Saint Rachel Center to celebrate the end of an art project in which our kids were involved together with some students of the Arts High School just in front.

The project unfolded over more than a month and included a theoretical part, design and realization of a wall painting inspired by children’s books.

The project director, Clil, shared with the participants her joy of working with a team which, though it changed all the time, was very motivated to give its contribution. To the celebration, beside Fr. Benny, Petros the counselor and the volunteers currently on duty, also participated Tomer Bliti Dagan, director of the Art School, who invited our kids to visit the school and participate in more activities together.

Fr. Benny stressed the importance of carrying on a project to its end, as a proof that when they want, our kids are capable of doing something that will leave a mark to the next generation. Also the kids shared about their enjoyment and each of them pointed to its contribution to the wall painting.

With a grateful heart we thank our new friends for their generosity, creativity and time, sure that we’ll meet again soon.
