An extraordinary visit at Saint Rachel Center

On December 22nd a group of young US Marines, accompanied by Fr. Peter Vasko OFM, chaplain of the American Embassy, visited Saint Rachel Center. As part of their kind visit, they brought a huge box full of toys for our children: they spread them on a long table and allowed the kids, one by one, to come and choose a present for a couple of rounds. When all received their share, they moved to the courtyard and played basketball and had fun. We are all very grateful for this generous initiative, especially during this sad year of the pandemic. The soldiers promised to come back again, and we’ll certainly wait for them.
