Celebration in Tiberias

The parish community of St. Peter’s in Tiberias gathered together on Saturday evening the 6th of July to give thanks to the Lord for the gift of Fr. Giuseppe De Nardi, 9 years parish priest, who is leaving to begin his new ministry as General Superior of the Koinonia John the Baptist.

After a joyful and meaningful Mass, the community organized a banquet, with songs, poems and small tokens of gratitude. The celebration was also an occasion to bless Fr. Giacomo Bergamin, who also begins a new stage of his life in Israel as parish priest in Tiberias.
