Islamo-Christian harmony
In times of terror and tragedy, it is good to highlight other images of harmony and coexistence.
Tania Kassis, a Lebanese singer, arranged this intertwining of the traditional Ave Maria with the Islamic call to prayer. This was performed for the first time to celebrate the first Islamo-Christian holiday established in Lebanon and fixed for March 25, the Feast of the Annunciation. The Virgin Mary is greatly honored in the Islamic tradition too.
