Father Gregor Pawlowski, who has served the Catholic community, both Polish and Hebrew speaking, since his arrival in Israel in 1970, has published two new books, following the book he published in 2012, "Shoah survivor, at the Service of Christ". These books are written entirely in verse and tell the story of Father Gregor's life and mission.

The latest two books are:

1. “In the Splendor of the Faith” (“W blasku wiary”) – divided into three parts, the book focuses on faith in this Year of Faith. The first part, entitled "Growing in faith", includes poems that trace out the development of a personal faith with titles like: "Back to the Father", "Regret for sins", "Thanksgiving after Communion", etc. The second part, entitled "My faith", describe the faith of a priest who has seen much in his life, a tested and tried faith. The titles include: "I have seen the Mother of God crying", "No happiness without God" and "You have to be ready to die". The final part is entitled "Witnesses of faith" and includes portraits of some of those who Father Gregor has known including a number of faithful from the Hebrew speaking communities in Israel including our late sisters Miriam Nothmann and Hanna Kleinberger as well as those who are happily still with us like Stella Tsur, Regine Canetti, Paul Colin and the Little Sisters of Jesus.

2. “In the splendor of the priesthood and in the service of the Messiah” (“W blasku kapllanstwa i w sluzbie Mesjaszowi”) is also divided into three parts. These include a first part which contains poems from school and seminary, focusing on the period between 1948 and 1958. A second part is entitled "Mary – the mother of the priests". A final part brings in rhymes and jokes for which Father Gregor is well known.

Both volumes also carry the author's Jewish name Jakub Hersz Griner. The two volumes were published in 2013 in Lublin.
