Youth Summer Camp 2026

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7)
How do young people discover that faith is way of life, an adventure rather than simply a lesson?
One of the highlights was walking the ancient path from Tabgha to Capernaum with Fr. Apo and Gabriel. Along the way, the young people paused for morning prayer, reflected on Scripture, and shared breakfast overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Walking where Jesus and His first disciples once walked transformed the Gospel from words on a page into a living experience.
Each day offered opportunities to grow in faith through workshops, presentations, and discussions exploring St. Paul's remarkable journey: from persecutor to passionate missionary. His story challenged the participants to ask themselves: What does it mean to follow Christ courageously today?
Of course, no Kaytanah would be complete without joy. Swimming, team challenges, the popular Ninja Challenge, barbecues, theme dinners, worship around the bonfire, and an unforgettable Journey Through Time evening created countless moments of laughter and friendship.
Holy Mass and morning prayer remained the heart of the camp. They reminded everyone that faith is not only something we learn it is something we live together.
Our heartfelt thanks to fr. Apolinary, fr. Igino, Danielle, fr. Leo, Gabriel, and Monika for their dedication throughout the camp.
We are deeply grateful to Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) for its generous support, which made this Kaytanah possible.
As the camp came to an end, the young people returned home with far more than happy memories. They carried new friendships, renewed confidence, and the encouragement to face life's own challenges with the same courage that shaped the life of St. Paul.
On the shores of the Sea of Galilee, another generation discovered that following Christ is still the greatest adventure of all.
