Lucia makes an act of consecration

Lucia, originally from Russia, and a long time member of the Jerusalem kehilla, made a solemn of consecration of her life to pray and service of the Church this morning, July 29, 2011, the feast of Saints Martha and Mary. A solemn mass was celebrated in as chapel of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher by Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Fouad Twal and the Vicar for the Hebrew Speaking communities, Father David Neuhaus concelebrated with five other priests. Greek Catholic Archbishop Joseph Zreyi was present as were members of the Jerusalem kehilla, members from Lucia's Neo-Catechumenal community and other friends. The prayer was accompanied by the magnificent singing of Benedetto, Carlos and Magali.
