Sukkot Kaytana in Jerusalem

During the vacations of the Feast of Tabernacles, from Sunday, October 16 until Tuesday, October 25, 2016, about 50 children attended activities each day at the Saint Rachel Center in Jerusalem. Sister Claudia reports:

After ten days of activities, the kaytana of Sukkot at the Saint Rachel Center has come to an end. In these days of vacation, we were accompanied by the adventures of young Arthur and Merlin the Magician, which helped us to discover the joy of growing and becoming adults even through difficulties, not just relying on our own strength but with the assistance of those who love us and by Providence which guides our steps.

Besides several walks in the park and some visits to the Old City for the older children, during this kaytana we had two special days during which we visited the Natural Museum and the "Grandpa Jack Center". These opportunities allowed the children to learn more about the world around us, to caress and cuddle the animals and, at the same time, to overcome their fears.

We are very grateful to all the families who entrust their children to us, to all the children who have shared their joy and liveliness, and to all those who helped us in making this kaytana possible.
