Jesus Basketball Camp 2022

For the first time St. James Vicariate organized a basketball camp for children. With the help of the Desert Flower youth group members (Jessa, Justin and Jeremy) the kids played basketball during the Feast of Shavuot.

"Jesus, Family, Basketball" was the name of this extraordinary event. A semi-professional coach, Nick Andre, an ex-player of USA college, presently student of med-school in Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva agreed to dedicate three days of his free time in order to coach our kids. Fr. Tiago and Fr. Piotr were responsible for the spiritual and technical part of the camp. The participants (both from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv) stayed in St. Thomas Hostel, run by Syro-Catholic Exarchate of Jerusalem. Great food and excellent conditions helped the players a lot to be in good shape during the trainings. At the end all the participants received diplomas in the Knights Hall of the Latin Patriarchate.
