Retreat day in Jaffa with members of the kehillot

The day that brought together all ages and representatives of all the kehillot, was focused on preparing for Easter. Father Roman, responsible for the kehilla in Haifa was the main preacher and focused in his two talks on faith in the Year of Faith. During the course of the day there were plenty opportunities to pray, to go to confession, to read the Bible, exchange news with friends, get to know new friends and enjoy the sun walking through the streets of old Jaffa or along the sea front.

The day ended with the celebration of the Sunday mass on Saturday evening, concelebrated by six priests and one deacon. It was a glorious way to prepare more fully for the coming feast of Easter.
