Father Apolinary from the Way of Saint James

Summer is a time to take a break and Father Apolinary, responsible for the Jaffa kehilla, is doing it the hard way: walking a part of the “Cammino” of Santiago (Saint James).

Father Apolinary sent greetings to one and all as he trekked the way that is taken by thousands of pilgrims each year. He wrote: “Blessings from the Cammino di Santiago to one and all and especially the faithful in Jaffa. The way is very beautiful but also very grueling. I bless you all and remember you in prayer”. This is a way that ends in Saintiago di Compostela in Spain. A place well remembered by the youth of Desert Flower, who visited there before attending the World Youth Day in Madrid in 2011.
