Tens of toddlers and babies dressed as Santa Claus filled the chapel of the Our Lady Woman of Valor Pastoral Center in south Tel Aviv. The nine family units, which accommodate almost 60 children under the age of three, all assembled together with their teachers and the parents who could take time off from work. The social worker, Keren, and pedagogical advisor, Gali, from Unitaf, the organization with which the Church runs the day care center, were also present.

Sister Dinesha, the director of the day care units welcomed one and all and expressed her joy that everyone had come together to celebrate. Father Michael Grospe, the director of the Pastoral Center told how important the work is in the overall plan of activities of the Center. Father David Neuhaus, Latin Patriarchal Vicar, thanked the staff of the day care units and Sister Dinesha for making every day Christmas as we open our arms and walk these little one, creating for them a safe, loving and nurturing environment.

The program included words of greeting from all those involved in the day care as well as Christmas carols sung by the teachers and dances performed by the children. Some might have called the event chaotic but there was much joy and the toddlers had a wonderful time. At the end of the event, those present shared a delicious meal together.
