A trip with the youth group from Jaffa and Haifa

On 26.02.21, I set off for a trip, in the Latrun area, together with a youth group from Jaffa and Haifa, in preparation for the way of the cross from Latrun to Jerusalem, planned in two weeks, that is already approaching.

It was the first time I participated in such a trip, and it was for me a real experience both in terms of enjoyment and of meaning. Part of the meaning, when you walk the way of the cross, is to be alone with the lord while remembering his way to the cross, where he gave himself as a sacrifice for us. I was very happy to take part in this trip, also as an act of love and return to the Lord through walking, through inner prayer and by praying with the community members during the trip.

In addition, we experienced the buds blossoming, heralding the coming spring. This reminded us of the most important thing: Beyond the sacrifice and suffering of our Lord on his way to the cross, and on the cross, he then rose from the dead and his tomb was left empty. He is with us now and forever.
