nazareth_houseIn Nazareth, a center to honor Mary mother of Jesus is being built. In the diggings, a house that goers back to the time of Jesus was unearthed, that is from the time of the end of the Second Temple period, in the first century AD.

According to Yardena Alexandre of the Israel Antiquities Authority, quoted in HaAretz newspaper: "From the little written evidence available we know that first century Nazareth AD was a small Jewish village located in a valley," Alexandre said, adding that "until now a few Jesus-era graves were revealed, but never have we unearthed the remains of contemporary residences."
