Over two million school children in Israel

To be exact, the Israeli authorities announced that 2 105 394 children are enrolled in kindergarten and all levels of school in Israel this year. 2 100 new classes have been built and 459 new kindergartens established for the beginning of the new school year. 149 705 children entered grade one while 112 750 pupils begin grade 12, the last year at school. 164 999 teachers and other staff are employed in the school system.
