University of Haifa – The Papacy: past and present


On Thursday, May 7, 2009, one day before the Holy Father arrives in the area, the University of Haifa is holding a one day congress on the Papacy.


The congress, organized by Prof. Sophia Menashe of the University, will bring together a group of historians and religion researchers in a half day of conferences that will be held in the auditorium of the Hecht Museum on the campus of the University. Father David Neuhaus, Patriarchal Vicar of the Hebrew speaking communities has been invited to lecture.
