Jokes aside, this is disrespectful

Christians all over Israel reacted strongly in reaction to the late night variety show on Channel Ten, broadcast on Sunday and Monday nights. The show poked fun at the Virgin Mary and at Jesus of Nazareth, denying basic beliefs of Christians.

Many Christians immediately mobilized in order to protest this show of disrespect. The only Christian member of Knesset, Hanna Sweid (from the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality) has initiated a legal process against Shlein and his employers at Channel 10.

In response, Channel 10 has removed the clips from its internet site.
