Holy Land Bishops send condolences to Rabbi Metzger

Rebbetzin Hinde Metzger, the mother of former Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger, passed away on September 26, 2013 at the age of 97. The Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land sent Rabbi Metzger a condolence message, which read:

“The members of the Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries in the Holy Land wish to present you with their sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, may her memory be a source of blessing. We pray that the Creator of the world, who raises the dead, might console you and the members of your family.

We are united with you in prayer at this time of bereavement and wish you a long life.”
