Lectures on Zoom about the Eucharist

Next Monday (29.01), at 8.30.pm the St. James Vicariate will continue a series of lectures online about the Eucharist: "The Greatest Mystery of Our Life". The lecturers of the 16-lessons course are Rivka and fr. Piotr. Everyone is invited.

The lectures will guide the listeners through all the parts of the holy liturgy.

The topics of the lectures:

Introductory Rites (Entrance procession, Greeting, Penitential Act)
Introductory Rites (Glory to God, Collect)
Liturgy of the Word (First Reading, Responsorial Psalm, Second Reading, Gospel Acclamation)
Liturgy of the Word (Gospel, Homily, Profession of Faith, Universal Prayer)
Liturgy of the Eucharist (Presentation of the Gifts, Preparation of the Altar, Prayer over the Offerings)
Eucharistic Prayer (Preface, Holy, Holy, Holy, First half of prayer, including Consecration)
Eucharistic Prayer (Mystery of Faith, Second half of prayer, including Doxology, The Lord's Prayer)
Communion (Sign of Peace, Lamb of God, Communion, Prayer after Communion), Concluding Rites (Greeting and Blessing, Dismissal)

Each topic will be commented by fr. Piotr and a week later by Rivka.
