Third children

As we approach Christmas, the Saint James Vicariate for Hebrew Speaking Catholics in Israel is proud to announce the publication of the third book for children – a present for all the children of the Hebrew speaking kehillot in the country.

The book, "Get to know the feasts and the seasons of the Church", contains 113 pages and discusses all the important holidays and seasons in the Catholic Church. This time, the colorful, magnificent illustrations were done by Giuliano Salvaterra, an Italian illustrator of Christian books for children, who is also the father of Father Gioele, who serves in Beer Sheba. The book is divided into four parts:

- The importance of the feasts of the people of Israel for the Church

- Ordinary time

- The Christmas cycle

- The Easter cycle

- Feasts in ordinary time

The book joins its predecessors: "Get to know the Messiah" (2009) and "Get to know the Church" (2010).

We are very grateful to Fondazione Giovanni-Paolo II in Italy, which has made this publication possible through their generosity!

Our hope is to publish more books that will help in the education of our children in the near future.
