Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
Every year and all over the world, Christians prayer for Christian unity in the last week of January. Thus Jesus desired as he prayed to God for his disciples: "Holy Father, protect them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one, as we are one" (John 17:11).

This year the prayer was prepared by a group of Christians from South Korea who chose as the theme for the prayer a verse from the Book of Ezekiel: "so that they may become one in your hand" (37:17). In Jerusalem, prayers are held every day in different churches from January 24 until February 1 according to the following program:
