Consecrated Life Is Light To the Nations

The celebration for the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple and the Day of Consecrated Life held in the co-cathedral of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem (02.02) began with a procession of lit candles, a symbol of Jesus, the light of the world.

Week of Prayers for Christian Unity

Nativity Scenes on Display in Jerusalem

A monumental Neapolitan nativity scene welcomes visitors to the center of St. Savior's Hall. Donated in 2014 by the city of Naples to the Custody of the Holy Land, it is the most valuable piece in the exhibition of nativity scenes, which opened last Dec. 15. The Custody of the Holy Land is offering this exhibition for the first time during the Christmas season, to enhance its small "heritage" of nativity art but also to bring the message of Christmas to a wider audience.
