Candidates for Confirmation on Retreat

On a beautiful Saturday morning, a group of us, along with some dedicated mothers from the Parents Committee, gathered at the OLWV Center in Tel Aviv. Guided by Fr. Piotr and Luca, we embarked on a journey to Jaffa, where we held a five-stage meeting. Our primary focus was preparing for Confession.

Our meeting began on the hills of ancient Jaffa, where we engaged in a thoughtful discussion about the nature of sin and the significance of moral decisions. We then moved to the chapel in St. Peter’s Monastery, where we delved into our relationship with God.

Afterwards, we descended to the harbor of Jaffa, where we explored our relationships with others. On our return journey, we reflected on our personal lives, considering both our physical and spiritual well-being.

The meeting concluded with a delightful lunch prepared by the parents, which rejuvenated everyone. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the organization of this event, including Luca, Beah, the mothers, and Fr. Piotr.
