Interreligious Meeting in Jerusalem
Members of a group called "The Spirit of Galilee" visited Jerusalem. One of the evenings was dedicated for a meeting with religious leaders from the Holy city. Fr. Piotr participated in the meeting.
Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Druze and Buddhist leaders from "The Spirit of Galilee" visited Jerusalem on June 12-13th. They were hosted by Rabba Hazanit Shani Ben Or at Mendel Center and by the Unit for Social Engagement at Hebrew University. Monday evening Rabba Ada Zavidov hosted the meeting at Har El Synagogue. The group was guided by Rabbi Or Zohar.
The meeting started with common meal during which the participants had an occasion to get to know each other and continued with short blessings prepared by seven various religious leaders. Workshops in small groups were connected to the practical question: Which way the interreligious meetings can influence life in Israel.
