75th Anniversary of the Jewish-Christian Friendship of France

As part of the tribute to Jules Isaac and the 75th anniversary of the Jewish-Christian Friendship of France, a session on the 10 points of Seelisberg was co-organized in Jerusalem by UNESCO and the AJCF on April 25th, 2023, at the initiative of Guila Clara Kessous, Ambassador for Peace and UNESCO Artist for Peace.
The session took place at the Hebrew-speaking Community of Jerusalem, Simon and Anne - St James Vicariate, through the platform Zoom. The reflection aimed to offer a modernized reading of the ten concluding points to allow an even more current resonance to the Jewish-Christian friendship.
Guila Clara Kessous was appointed UNESCO Artist for Peace in January 2012, in light of her commitment to promoting and defending human rights through art. In her capacity as a UNESCO Artist for Peace, she defends the values of human rights, peace and justice as well as the teaching of genocidal realities and slavery. She is also committed to gender equality.
