Grandpa Aaron and His Rain

A gift to the Children of the Saint Rachel Center

Much joy and laughter, but also plenty of suspense for 50 children from the Saint Rachel Centre, at the "Grandpa Aaron and His Rain" show at the Menachem Benin Heritage Centre.

On the morning of 22nd August, a theatrical performance was held, which saw three actors playing kindly old men who, due to drought, set off on an adventure to recover clouds stuck in the mountain cave, along with a cow, a hare and an umbrella. It proved a fun and imaginative journey, accompanied by lots of music, jokes, and a choreography full of colourful cardboard boxes.

In a 50-minute show the artists were able to capture the attention of the little spectators who applauded and danced along with the songs sung by the same actors.

We thank "The Train Theatre", Dana Basson and also Mimi Makover, who wished to offer the children a morning of entertainment.
