The Babies of the Day Care Center have a trip to the sea

Joy and discoveries for Saint Rachel Center’s Children

In the last few days, the recurring and insistent question of our children was: "When do we go to the sea? Are we going to the sea today? " The much awaited and longed for day finally arrived. Last Thursday, May 2, seven of us "boarded", with 14 of our most daring explorers, to discover a mysterious and unknown place to many. The journey leading us to the gates of the "new world" was a little too long for our adventurers, since patience is not always a companion of bravery ... "Did we arrive? ... When do we arrive? ". The five minutes promised by the chaperones had an endless flavor, longer than eternity …!

But the wait was rewarded by a great joy. The sight of the sand, of the sea, of the nature unknown to their senses made our explorers rejoice in a unanimous wonder. Intrepid and determined, they flung themselves up to the discovery of the new world: away the shoes! away the socks! away the shirts !! a bit of sand here! a little there! ... and why not ... in the eyes of the neighbor ... and then a wild run to the sea ...!!

Fortunately, the educators were sufficiently numerous to take care of each and every one! The morning passed joyously full of discoveries for everyone: for the little ones in their exploration of a world never seen, and the adults, witnesses of the spark of joy and knowledge lit and alive in the eyes of children. The return in the early afternoon found "the entire team" united and unanimous in a deep and satisfied sleep.
