Easter joy and Nature


Putting together a personal mosaic of small things, which together help us to feel and express the joy

The Easter season is a season of joy. Our joy is in the Risen Christ, the joy of life’s victory over death, joy in God’s salvation. That joy is deep and real, even if the current situation can make it difficult for us to feel or express it. Without the usual community prayers and celebrations, each of us needs to find ways to feel the Easter joy – like putting together a personal mosaic of small things, which together help us to feel and express the great joy. In this time, one of the things which can be of help is the growth and flowering of nature around us, with the force and renewed life of spring – even in the cities. Here are a poem and some pictures to share something of this beauty.
