Prayer for Pope in Egypt
Today, Friday, April 28, 2017, Pope Francis begins a two day visit to Egypt and we pray for him, for the Church in Egypt and for our neighboring country, that it might know peace.

Rivka, member of the Jerusalem kehilla, sent us a short report: “There were many Coptic Christians in Jerusalem for Easter. I met a group in Abu Ghosh and learnt that many come to Abu Ghosh in search of poppies. According to them: “These poppies are special and can only be found in the Holy Land. Within the flower, one can clearly find the cross”.
May the Pope’s visit bring much blessing to Egypt. As it is written in Isaiah 19:25, “Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my heritage.”
