The Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land (ACOHL) held its bi-annual meeting from Wednesday, September 1 until Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Bethlehem at the house of the Betharam Fathers.

The children are going back to school today, Wednesday, September1. We pray for them and that this year might be a fruitful year, a year of wisdom and creativity.

Israeli State President Mr. Shimon Peres will visit Pope Benedict XVI on Thursday, September 2, 2010.

The moment is drawing closer when the decision to deport more than 400 children of migrant workers in Israel is to be carried out. Support of the children is growing and yesterday the State President expressed his opposition to the deportation.
