He directs the World Community for Christian Meditation and is a disciple of the renowned teacher of meditation, Father John Main. Father Lawrence Freeman has taught meditation in the Church for more than twenty years. He directs many communities of "Monasteries without Walls", founded by Father Main in the 1970s. Father Freeman also supports Catholic and ecumenical communities interested in meditation."
