Priests' meeting – February 6, 2015

Present at the meeting were nine priests, including the priests responsible for the communities in Jerusalem, Jaffa, Haifa, Beer Sheba and Tiberias, and one of the priests working with the Russian-speaking communities. This was the first time for some of the priests to visit the renovated kehilla home.

The meeting began with a time to share on the Gospel that will be read on Sunday, at the liturgy. This was followed by news from the different communities.

In addition the following subjects were also discussed:

- the financial report for 2014. The priests have agreed that much energy must be invested in fundraising.

- the link between the local Hebrew speaking Catholics and the migrant Catholic communities.

- preparations for Easter

- preparations for the Central Committee of the kehillot meeting in May.

Lunch was shared by the priests together.
