Bishops give practical suggestions for June 8

The Catholic Ordinaries propose:

- to the parish priest to pray for peace during the Sunday masses,

- to the young people from all the various groups and movements to organize vigils of prayer on Saturday night,

- to the communities of men and women religious to organize a time of prayer for this intention,

- to the families to light a candle in a central window in their homes on Sunday evening,

- to Christians and all people of good will to keep silent for two minutes of prayer at 19.00 (turn off the television, stop the car, stop conversations).
