Eleven members of the Jerusalem kehilla met on Friday, very early in the morning in the Ecce Homo convent, in the Old City. In the lower, underground chapel of the convent, at the place where the original ceiling from the Antonia fortress is preserved, Father David celebrated the Eucharist in Hebrew . This was the fourth such Lenten mass - after Gethsemane (Father Rafic), Flagellation (Father Roman) and Gallicantu (Father Gioele) - Holy Mass during the Lent time celebrated in a place connected with the events from the Passion of Jesus.

In all these places the texts of the prayers in the Hebrew language were prepared with the help of a few people who translated them from other languages (Italian and English). Many thanks to all who helped to translate these liturgical texts and to the priests who agreed to celebrate. The last Mass will take place this week in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (the chapel of Calvary).
