During the last Christmas Season, the Good Shepherd Filipino Catholic Community received Christmas gifts from the Hebrew speaking Catholic community through Fr. Piotr Zelasko. The gifts were meant to be given to those parishioners who have their families here in Jerusalem. There were about 20 listed Filipino families who joyfully received the gifts.

Indeed the GSFCC can not thank the Hebrew Speaking Catholic Community enough for the generosity and the kindness shown towards our community. We have also received from them valuable donations to help our parishioners whose families were affected by the super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) back in the Philippines. We will never forget the tragic calamity that affected the Philippines early last November 2013. Many among the parishioners were badly affected by the calamity and thus, the help extended by the Hebrew speaking Catholic community was very timely and indeed has added much to the comfort and the hope of the people of our country.

We, from GSFCC, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the Hebrew Speaking Catholic Community for trusting us and especially for always being so kindhearted towards us. "Whoever brings blessings will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered", says the book of Proverbs. May the Lord bless each and every member of your community and may He reward you for being so good hearted especially to those in most need of help. May God reward your community with abundance of blessings from above.
