On Saturday evening, Father Sergey celebrated the mass in an atmosphere of joy and great enthusiasm. Together with him the priest who concelebrated were, Father David Neuhaus, Vicar for the Hebrew speaking Catholic communities, Father Daniel, a guest from the Philippines, Father Gregor and our own good shepherd, Father Apolinary.

During the homily, Father Apolinary explained to us that it is always important to remember the infinite love of God for us. Jesus is being baptized by John in order to draw even closer to us, sinners, and to be one of us in this world. Therefore it is so important for us to try and be like him as much as possible, he who is Jesus son of God.

The mass was celebrated in great joy and afterwards the faithful gathered to celebrate two birthdays of members of the kehilla with cakes, a reception and much love.
