Pope names new Cardinals


On Sunday, January 12, 2014, Pope Francis revealed the list of new cardinals who will be nominated at the next consistory that begins on February 22.

– Archbishop of Québec Gérald Cyprien Lacroix (Canada)

– Archbishop of Abidjan Jean-Pierre Kutwa (Ivory Coast)

– Archbishop of Rio de Janeiro Orani João Tempesta, O.Cist. (Brazil)

– Archbishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve Gualtiero Bassetti (Italy)

– Archbishop of Buenos Aires Mario Aurelio Poli (Argentina)

– Archbishop of Seoul Andrew Yeom Soo jung (Korea)

– Archbishop of Santiago de Chile Ricardo Ezzati Andrello, S.D.B. (Chile)

– Archbishop of Ouagadougou Philippe Nakellentuba Ouédraogo (Burkina Faso)

– Bishop of Les Cayes Chibly Langlois (Haiti)
