Summer Saturday Afternoons

Kiril, Claudia, Tiago and Fr. Piotr prepared a program full of fun. There will be time for art, sports, music and prayer.

Last Saturday, during the first meeting the Eucharist was celebrated. The scene from the Gospel was presented during the homily in order to explain some fundamental truths to the kids. We could see Jesus (Fr. Piotr) teaching Simon the Pharisee (Kiril) that God does not only love the rich, famous and admired by the society, but also the small ones, those who are hated by all, the poor, the miserable, like the prostitute (acted by Claudia). Part of the message was also that there are no "bad people". Everyone was created by God and is good. It is only some human acts that may be wrong, unjust or immoral. We should never judge the people.

The meetings will be continued every Saturday afternoon till the end of September (except for the time of the summer camps). Football, volleyball, school of guitar, art-works and catechesis will be interchanged with prayers and trips. The kids and the parents are invited on Saturdays at 3.pm.
