A double celebration took place in the Hebrew speaking Catholic kehilla in Jaffa on the Feast of Corpus Christi when eight children from the community received first communion from the hands of the priest of the kehilla, Father Apolinary. These children prepared for a long time and studied their religion classes with Sister Anna, Sister Marianna and Brother Alberto and each week they participated in the weekly mass. On this feast day, they came to church dressed in white with radiant faces in order to receive the Lord. Each one was surrounded by happy parents and other relatives. Let us pray that they might indeed be witnesses to the love of Christ in their daily lives.
