Nuncio presents credentials to Peres

The recently arrived Nuncio, Mgr. Lazzarotto, arrived at the official residence of Israel’s State President, Mr. Shimon Peres, on Tuesday morning, December 4, 2012, to present his credentials. He was among a group of five new ambassadors who presented their credentials in the same ceremony. The others were the ambassadors of Croatia, Switzerland, India and Belgium. After the ceremony, the five ambassadors held a joint reception at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem and among those invited were the heads of the Christian Churches.

We take this opportunity to once again wish Mgr. Lazzarotto well on his new mission.
