Paul-Samuel Auszenkier z"l

Paul-Samuel was born on November 2, 1924, into a Jewish family in Lodz in Poland and he died in Paris. He lived for most of his life in France but he came to live in Israel from 1958 until 1964 and it was there that he met his future wife, Rachel.

Paul-Samuel was a faithful friend of the kehillot, the Hebrew speaking Catholic communities in Israel. It was he who first insisted on the idea of creating a web site for the community. He was also the long time moderator of the group “Mary, daughter of Zion” in Paris.

His departure is the cause of great sadness among his family and many friends, may his memory be a source of blessing.
