Father Apolinary, the priest responsible for the Hebrew speaking kehilla in Jaffa went on holiday and during this time decided to devote five days to walking a part of the pilgrims’ path that leads to Santiago di Compostella in Spain. On the last day, at the festive mass, Father Apolinary met again with the members of the Riquinios, the Spanish youth group that had hosted the members of “Desert Flower” when they stayed in this place, a week before travelling to Madrid in order to participate in the World Youth Days.

Father Apolinary sent a message that one of the young people prayed for the members of Desert Flower and all the members of the kehillot at the final mass. The members of the Riquinios have already begun preparations to travel to Rio de Janeiro next year, where the World Youth Days will take place. They hope very much to meet their friends from Israel.
