Ordinations of Franciscans – June 2012

In a solemn mass, celebrated by the Papal Nuncio in Israel, Archbishop Antonio Franco, three Franciscans will be ordained priests and six others will be ordained deacons. The ordinations will take place during a solemn mass on the feast of Saints Peter and Paul in the Church of Saint Savior in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Among the candidates to be ordained deacon is our dear friend Fra Sergey Loktionov, who served for a year in the Jerusalem kehilla. We wish him and his brothers Mazal Tov and promise to pray for them.
