Summer Filipino children's mass in Hebrew

The Salesian theology students have organized religious classes for the children of Filipino migrant workers in Jerusalem but in the summer these classes stop. This summer Father Piotr will be holding a mass and other activities for these children once every two weeks.

For a number of years now, the theology students at Ratisbonne, the Salesian theology school in Jerusalem, have been organizing religion classes for the children of Filipino migrant workers. These classes continue throughout the academic year. In the summer time, the Salesian students leave for pastoral work and vacation.

This year, Father Piotr, from the Hebrew speaking Vicariate community, proposed that the children gather at the Hebrew speaking Vicariate once every two weeks for a special children's mass in Hebrew and other activities. This summer program began on Saturday, June 16, to the delight of the children and the mothers who attended at the House of Saints Simeon and Anne.
